The waitstaff is pleasant, but the rude, surly woman behind the counter makes visiting here a poor choice when there are so many other restaurants offering similar fare in OOB.

We had steamers and a lobster roll. The service was great and the manager/owner stopped by to check on us. Service was quick and expected!

Horrible service even for east coast standards. Should have walked the additional twenty feet to the other restaurants. Seared scallops were not seared but soft and mushy; fish taco shells were dry and old. Do not recommend.

My friend called at 624 pm and asked how long they served food until. He said that as long as we called before 7:45 we would be fine. We called at 7:16, it rang about 15 times. We called again at 718. We were prepared to place an order of about $100. The woman that answered the phone informed us that they were no longer taking take out orders because they were "very busy" and we were "all set". I tried to explain to her that the gentleman that we had talked to previously had said it was okay but after about two words she HUNG UP ON ME!!! Never again will I bother to patronize this classless establishment!!

Some pretty good sandwiches. Decent lobster roll and I enjoy the fries. Everything is fresh. Good for a quick bite in OOB, which is fairly underwhelming when it comes to food choices. Avoid the lobster stew unless you want to pay 10 bucks for a bowl of greasy milk with a tiny claw and a few strands of tail. My only complaint.

Three vacation years running, we've eaten one dinner at Fat Bellies. Why? The food, while not spectacular, was always diverse enough to please everyone. (We've got three teenagers.) So, we had no complaints, until we encountered... "THE TABLE NAZI". It happened this morning. My husband and I, fresh out of bed and looking to get re-caffeinated, went in and ordered two coffees and two cinnamon rolls from the awfully sweet kids being directed by an older woman with short hair who I presumed to be the owner or manager. The food came back fast, and, it being a breezy morning, we took our containers into the alcove of the EMPTY restaurant and sat down at a table. As I opened the lid of my coffee, I heard a female voice behind me bark, "These TABLES are for sit-down customers. That's why we have SERVERS. TAKE OUT is TAKE OUT!" She then goose-stepped away without waiting for a reply. (Okay, to be accurate, my back was to her, but some type of military cadence must surely have been involved.) My husband and I looked at one another with what at first was alarm, then indignation. We are business owners and work one on one with the public. We couldn't imagine EVER treating a customer that way, and we have had some doozies. We took our order and our annoyance out onto the sidewalk. There may have been a sign we didn't notice. But, shaming a still-sleepy, (but awfully clean and cute!) middle aged couple who has mistakenly taken a table in a SEA of empty tables? Treating paying customers like a couple of freeloading hobos? Ridiculous. We won't go again.

Had breakfast today and it was awesome. Great service. Coffee cup was always full and the food tasted excellent. Had crapes and the kids had pancakes and corn beef hash. Great place to eat. I highly recommend them.

The fish tacos with Mahi and mango salsa were delicious! Our young server was friendly and attentive.

I reserve the right to add a star (or two) once we have gone more than twice (there is potential though). First time was for breakfast last summer. Good deal. Second time was this past Saturday, with daughter in tow. Sat outside on the deck (perfect, to get out of the sun for a while. with a great breeze from the nearby beach). Hubs had a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. I had the crab cake "burger" (lettuce, tartar sauce, on a fresh, toasted roll) and fries. Little one (she's 3 and picky) had a hot dog and fries. All deemed quite delicious (I was certainly pleased with server Kaley's suggestion of the crab cake). The fries were yummy. Portions were not too little, not too much (nothing worse than trudging back onto the beach with an over-full tummy... recipe for food coma and SUNBURN). On the way out Kaley mentioned they are now also open for dinner with beer and wine being served. Will be going back on our next trip to OOB!

We come here often as we stay at the Beachwood Motel right next door. Outside seating is nice, friendly service and they sell beer!! We only had their breakfast which was really, really good. Decently priced and the service was friendly.
